Softer, bouncier, more stable and durable—the redesigned Torrent 4 is all about that cushion, and honed for the trail. Hoka upgraded the midsole compound for a lighter, cushier ride, increasing the stack height but nestling the foot securely in an Active Foot Frame™. Then they reworked the 5mm lugs for an even more aggressive bite, wrapping the high-abrasion rubber strategically up the outsole, and adding an extra plush sockliner for comfort for the long haul.
